Where to Find Science Buskers

Strawberry Flavoured Science is from the team behind Food for Thought science busking.
The team are busking at Cheltenham Science Festival between 6th-8th June this year, and at the Secret Garden Party in Cambridgeshire between 24-27th July.
At-Bristol Science Centre staff regularly busk around Millennium Square in Bristol.
And here are some other examples of science busking:
Einstein at Glastonbury
Street Science in Manchester (video)
Physics buskers in Dublin (pdf, page five)

What is Science Busking?
Science busking, very simply, is busking, but with science.
In general, the only people mad (and geeky) enough to do it are science communicators - that's people who talk/write/create performances/make art about science.
Science communicators are very keen on getting the public involved in science-based stuff. So that's where science busking comes in. It's a way of taking science demonstrations and activities out of the lab and on to the street.
But isn't science meant to happen in the lab?
No! Science is happening all the time, everywhere. It's just that most of the time, we don't think about it.
So what sort of stuff do science buskers busk about?
Okay, so there hasn't yet been an example of anyone sequencing DNA on a street corner (give it time) but buskers have done everything from testing space ice cream with passers-by to creating musical instruments out of coat hangers.
